Boyds Untethered # 55

Not too long ago we took a driving trip that we titled “Tour of the South”.

Our adventure took us through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

The eastern end of our trip was Savanah GA and here’s a picture from the river walk there.

Doesn’t this veil of Spanish Moss say “southern”…  just about as loud as it can.

Savanah is built along the Savanah River which divides Georgia from South Carolina. It is also pretty much a costal and port city on the Atlantic Ocean too.

Savanah was founded in 1733 when travel and commerce was across the oceans and up the rivers.

It’s the oldest city in Georgia and has all the history, architecture and culture that goes along with having been around for almost 300 years.
