Boyds Untethered #34
One of the great things about living in a resort are the services we have that are well in excess of what you would expect for our population of 50,000.
Take restaurants for example.
Our 100 Things to Do in Galveston book highlights 22 restaurants in the Food and Drink section. They cover the full spectrum from fancy to local, expensive to economical and cover a vast variety of different food types too.
We have visited and enjoyed a number of those on the list. But our most recent favorite is one of the many, many restaurants on the island that are not even listed in that guide.
We have been to the Gypsy Joynt twice now and have found this locally owned and family run restaurant to have interesting decor, great service and food that is both well made and unique.
